Dear Indian Hill Families,
As we enter the final month of the school year, I would like to extend my heartfelt congratulations and appreciation to our amazing 6th grade students and families. Thank you for your continued support, dedication, and hard work throughout your years at Indian Hill School. We are incredibly proud of all that our students have accomplished academically, socially, and personally. As you prepare for your next chapter at Satz and the high school, remember to always reach for the stars, take risks, and believe in yourselves. Continue to lead with kindness and humility, and never stop striving to be your very best. We wish each of you tremendous success, happiness, and good luck in all that lies ahead.
At the same time, we are excited to welcome our incoming 3rd grade students and families to the Indian Hill community! We look forward to creating wonderful memories and experiences together. To our upcoming 5th graders, we hope you enjoy a fantastic summer and return in September ready to be outstanding role models and leaders for our newest students entering Indian Hill School.
Although the school year is winding down, we still have many fun and exciting events ahead for our students and staff. We are looking forward to Field Days, Science Fairs, the 6th Grade Trout Trip, Battle of the Grades, and the always special 6th Grade Breakfast celebration. These activities help create lasting memories and celebrate the incredible spirit of our school community.
Thank you, as always, for your continued support, partnership, and collaboration throughout the school year. Your involvement and encouragement make Indian Hill School such a special place for our students to learn and grow. I would also like to extend a very special thank you to our incredible PLG for their unwavering support, hard work, time, and dedication throughout the year. Their efforts have provided so many amazing opportunities for our students and meaningful ways for our families to engage and connect within our school community. We are truly grateful for all they do. We are already looking forward to another amazing school year together in September.
Wishing all of our Indian Hill families a safe, relaxing, and fun-filled summer!
Best,
Lisa Vitale

The Indian Hill School Entrepreneur Club has done it again! Drawing crowds of hundreds to the atrium at Bell Works, students dazzled patrons as they shopped the 66 student-run vendor booths on Thursday, May 7th. The fair brought in $5,377.00 in donated profit, all of which will be combined with proceeds from December’s Holiday Market event to purchase a brand new, high-quality, professional grade GaGa Pit for the school’s playground! How incredible!
In only its second year, the Entrepreneur Club has quickly gained popularity among 4th-6th graders at Indian Hill. Club enrollment closed out reaching max capacity of 100 members in just minutes of sign-ups opening. With two opportunities per year to be a part of this amazing group, one in the fall and one in the spring, club participants gain foundational knowledge of what it takes to start & run a successful small business. Club meetings focus on product development, branding, marketing, and sales. From seed idea to product creation, these young entrepreneurs nurture their curiosity and creativity, acquire essential, real-life skills, and see their product ideas come to life all while developing an entrepreneurial mindset.
This year’s Spring Market Day event was nothing short of amazing. Vendors served up mouth-watering, homemade treats, creative handcrafted products, and trendy kid-created gadgets that everybody wanted! Some booths even sold out of their products before the fair was over! Shoppers included students, parents, teachers, and community members. This event was open to the public and many passersby were thrilled to take part in the festivities. Patrons were delighted with the assortment of products and were happy to spend their dollars for a worthy cause. What a great way to bring the Holmdel community together! The Indian Hill young entrepreneurs have a lot to be proud of. Way to go!

In celebration of America's 250th upcoming birthday and in partnership with Holmdel's America 250th Committee, Indian Hill 4th graders took part in a town-wide scavenger hunt organized by Holmdel Recreation. This fun, free community event involved students and their families following clues on the Goosechase App. Tasks lead participants around town to discover fascinating information about Holmdel's history and its role in the Revolutionary War. Since the 4th graders study this particular time in our nation's history, it was an opportunity that couldn't be missed! Students had a blast discovering interesting historical facts about Holmdel's role in the American Revolution. The last task of the challenge involved taking a group photo to celebrate the team's success! Students were encouraged to show their patriotic spirit by wearing the colors red, white, and blue. What an incredible photo celebrating the 250th birthday of America! |
